August 29, 2026 — Institute Departments are live

The Institute Departments are now part of the public Institute.

Six Department hubs organize the Institute's work across Work & Organizations, Consumer & Commerce, Transportation & Mobility, Built Environment & Public Infrastructure, Digital Technology & Interfaces, and Home & Domestic Life.

The Departments are a navigation and research-framing layer. Existing questions, Articles, and other published work keep their own canonical pages rather than being duplicated inside the hubs.

August 29, 2026 — More permanent questions and Institute Articles published

Twenty additional permanent question-and-answer pages and two additional Institute Articles were added to the public site.

The question library remains the home for concise everyday explanations and comedy, while Institute Articles provide more room for longer examinations of behavior, systems, and ordinary friction.

August 29, 2026 — Answer Contest status clarified

The Dunce Dynamics Answer Contest remains a planned future feature.

The concept is still in development. Entries are not open, no launch date has been announced, and final rules and voting details have not been fixed.

August 10, 2026 — The Dunce Dynamics Institute is live

The Dunce Dynamics Institute is now part of the public site.

The Institute takes the same curiosity that drives Dunce Dynamics questions and applies it to longer examinations of everyday behavior, systems, frustrations, and ordinary experiences.

It is deliberately presented with more institutional seriousness than most of these subjects require.

The Institute is part of the Dunce Dynamics creative world. It is not an academic institution, government agency, regulatory body, or scientific authority.

August 10, 2026 — Institute Articles are now publishing

The Institute Article Library is live, giving longer research-themed work a permanent home on Dunce Dynamics.

The first published Institute Article examines self-checkout and the strange way automation can remove an employee without necessarily removing the work.

Future Articles can expand ideas that need more room than the original question-and-answer format provides.

August 10, 2026 — Dunce Dynamics is expanding beyond a single format

The original question-driven format remains active, but the site now reflects a broader Dunce Dynamics model.

Questions, observational comedy, comics, Institute Articles, research-themed work, videos, experiments, and other original concepts can now develop under one brand rather than forcing every idea into the same format.

The About page has been updated to reflect that broader direction.

June 24, 2026 — Contest coming soon

The Dunce Dynamics Answer Contest page went live.

The concept: one question, audience answers, community voting, and a winning response featured on the site.

June 24, 2026 — The Dunce Dynamics Bulletin

The Dunce Dynamics Bulletin, originally launched as the Simply Stupid Gazette, became part of the site's editorial experiments.

The first issue highlighted selected published answers and gave the growing question library another way to be explored.

June 24, 2026 — Press, advertising, and About pages

Dedicated Press, Advertise, and About pages were added as Dunce Dynamics began developing beyond the original launch site.

June 22, 2026 — Submit your own question

Visitors can submit a question directly to Dunce Dynamics.

Submitted questions enter a review process before anything is published.

June 22, 2026 — Shareable answer cards

Published answers gained branded shareable cards and social-sharing tools.

June 22, 2026 — Category browsing

Dedicated category pages were added so published questions could be explored by topic through Categories.

June 22, 2026 — Sensitive-content handling

Questions involving subjects such as mental health, abuse, eating disorders, or substance use can be routed away from comedy treatment toward appropriate informational and support resources.

Some questions deserve a different kind of response.

June 21, 2026 — The original site launches

The project launched as Simply Stupid Answers, built around real answers, observational humor, stupidity ratings, and stick-figure comics.

That original format became the foundation for what is now Dunce Dynamics.
